A Dance Through Time

Two women. Two centuries. One passion that binds them across time.

A Dance Through Time, Book One of the Timedance Chronicles.

The story

A love that refuses to keep to its own century.

In 1991 Birmingham, Chloe has given up on ballet, and on herself. Adrift after failure, she visits a clairvoyant and is shaken by visions of bygone days and a mysterious uniformed man. Soon the line between past and present begins to blur.

In the glittering, gaslit splendour of 1843 London, Katherine, a rising ballerina, risks everything for love and ambition when she meets Lieutenant Frederick Howard: magnetic, honourable, and forbidden to her by class and convention.

As Chloe is drawn back into Katherine's life, she must confront choices that demand she reclaim her courage, her passion, and the future she thought she had lost.

What readers are saying

Five stars, and a chorus asking for the next one.

So good that it could be the next Outlander-style series.

Liz Sagar-Tomlinson

A true masterpiece with a lyrical voice that keeps you engaged from the first line.

Kevin Waldron

The author has a real talent for drawing you into their world. The ending was a genuine surprise.

A. Russell

How to make a split-time story really work. Not so much a good read as a fantastic one.

K. Adamson

Beautiful historical detail, entrancing, shimmering scenes of then and now. Watch this author.

G. J. Roberts

Reminds me of the classical writers like Austen and Hardy. Highly recommended.

Helen Ceshan

The romance, the dance, and the sense of destiny all come together beautifully.

Jennifer Marie

A hint of magic and a book you cannot put down. A must buy.

Sarah Dawson

Author K. M. Pritchard.

The author

A dancer who learned to write in two times at once.

Born in Birmingham and trained as a ballet teacher at the Royal Academy of Dance, K. M. Pritchard fell for flamenco in the early nineties and followed it all the way to Andalucia. Her own life runs like the novels: ballet and Birmingham on one side, flamenco and Spain on the other.
