The Timedance Chronicles
Book One · Out now
A story of love, loss, and second chances.
In 1991 Birmingham, Chloe has given up on ballet, and on herself. A visit to a clairvoyant leaves her shaken by visions of bygone days and a mysterious uniformed man, and the line between past and present begins to blur.
In the gaslit splendour of 1843 London, Katherine, a rising ballerina, risks everything for love when she meets Lieutenant Frederick Howard: magnetic, honourable, and forbidden to her by class and convention.
Bound by dance and haunted by longing, both women must decide what they are willing to risk for love, ambition, and the chance to truly live. A sweeping, sensual time-slip romance for readers of Outlander.

It wasn’t fair.
They were screaming Grisi’s name as if she were Queen Victoria herself. Wreaths flew from the boxes, roses spun down from the gallery, perfume thick in the air as flowers rained onto the stage like confetti at a coronation. The theatre shimmered beneath the footlights, packed to the rafters and resounding with cries of “Grisi! Grisi! Grisi!” The sound struck Katherine from all sides like hail: glorious, deafening, relentless.
Not one person remained in their seat. Not one voice called for her.
Katherine stood poised just behind Carlotta, hands folded lightly, smile fixed in place. But inside, something curled. Tightened. Cracked.
This should be for me. I deserve this, too.

So good that it could be the next Outlander-style series.

How to make a split-time story really work. Not so much a good read as a fantastic one.

Reminds me of the classical writers like Austen and Hardy. Highly recommended.
